Ohio Busted Mugshots is privately operated. It is not a government office and cannot confirm whether someone is in custody or has been released, provide or remove an official booking photo, post bond, or pull a record. Contact the government office that created or now holds the record.
Choose the Record Office
Ohio does not have one statewide county booking office, county address, or county phone number. Arrest and booking records are held by the arresting agency, sheriff, or jail for the place involved. Use the County Directory to reach the county-specific source path, then contact that custodian directly.
Choose the route that matches the record you need:
- County arrest or booking: Select the county in the County Directory. Its local sheriff, jail, or arresting police department is the records custodian. The Ohio booking-record overview explains what to request and how county systems differ.
- Court case or disposition: Contact the municipal-court clerk or county Common Pleas clerk for the case. The Supreme Court of Ohio courts-by-county directory helps identify the correct court; the clerk holds the local docket and orders.
- Ohio state-prison record: Search the ODRC offender database for an official profile. For a public-record request or a missing, incomplete, or disputed ODRC record, use the department's contact and Central Records route.
- Federal prison custody: Use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For federal records, follow the BOP's FOIA instructions. The locator is not a public mugshot feed.
- Federal immigration detention: Check the separate ICE Online Detainee Locator. Its search and timing limits mean a result or no result does not establish a person's immigration status or a criminal case outcome.
